Your Treatment Plan
We offer individualized (which can include family members) cognitive-behavioral therapy for anxiety and OCD-related disorders. The length of treatment and frequency of sessions varies and will be discussed in our first meeting as part of the treatment plan.
Office hours are available by appointment. Weekend and evening hours are available.
One of the keys of effective therapy is consistency. Therefore, to provide the highest quality therapy possible, we find it necessary to use a wait list at times. If our caseloads are full, we can discuss wait list options as well as possible referrals to ensure that you receive the best possible treatment.
For Dr. Gyoerkoe, sessions are 45 minutes and billed at $190. For Dr. Selkin and Dr. Andreescu, sessions are billed at $175 per 45 minute meeting. If sessions are shorter or longer in length, the fee is prorated based on the per session rate.
Intensive therapy refers to sessions that are longer or more frequent than one 45-minute session per week. For example, intensive therapy may consist of 90 minute sessions or three 45 minute sessions in one week. Certain types of anxiety benefit from a more intensive therapy approach.
Services may be covered at an out of network rate. Please check your coverage carefully by asking your insurance carrier the following questions:
- Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
- What is my deductible and has it been met?
- How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
- What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
- Is approval required from my primary care physician?
We accept cash, check, Health Savings Accounts, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.
